Technical Specifications: Core Cluster Configuration & Networking (Initial Phase)

Our initial setup focuses on providing a high-performance, fully managed environment for your development needs.

Orchestration: We utilize Docker Swarm for streamlined management and controlled scalability during the development phase.
Operating System: Node instances run on your choice of Ubuntu 22.04 or Debian 12, selected by our PROVIDER for optimal performance.
Underlying Infrastructure: Your Docker Swarm is hosted on KVM instances within an OpenStack architecture. The network infrastructure leverages Juniper switches and Neustar services for enhanced performance and security.
Reverse Proxy: Includes a primary reverse proxy, with your choice of Caddy, Tengine, Openresty or Nginx.
Backend Proxy: A secondary proxy is implemented for seamless backend service communication.
Database Caching: We incorporate a Memcached layer to significantly accelerate database operations.
Request Caching: A Redis-based cache at the reverse proxy level optimizes request handling and speeds up response times.

Cluster Composition & Storage

The KABBALA Private Cloud comes specifically equipped with a robust, dedicated setup tailored for performance and intelligent data management.

Docker Instances: 4 dedicated Docker instances for your application containers.
Ceph Storage: 4 dedicated instances for Ceph storage, forming our main shared storage pool. This advanced Ceph deployment leverages a hybrid SSD and HDD configuration with BlueStore. This means frequently accessed data and critical operations benefit from SSD speeds, while less-frequently accessed or archival data is efficiently stored on HDDs. This ensures optimal performance without compromising on cost-effective bulk storage.
Instance Storage (per Docker/Ceph instance): Each instance includes 20 GB SSD for the operating system and core applications. This provides fast boot times and snappy application performance.
Dedicated Media Storage: 1 TB of storage specifically allocated for media files. This media storage also benefits from our intelligent hybrid SSD/HDD strategy, ensuring that frequently accessed media is served rapidly from SSDs, while larger or less-accessed content resides efficiently on HDDs.
Note: Instance specifications and disk space can be upgraded upon request.

Geographical Distribution & Redundancy

Ensure high availability and low latency access with our globally distributed infrastructure.

Primary Data Center: The initial cloud infrastructure will be established in a cutting-edge data center located in the United States.
Global DNS: We include globally distributed DNS servers across 12 different locations, ensuring high availability and low latency access for your users worldwide.
Enhanced Redundancy & Security: To meet rigorous security and availability standards, your deployment may incorporate instances from Google Cloud or Hetzner, alongside our proprietary instances. This strategy guarantees a distributed presence across at least 3 distinct data centers.
Cross-Provider Flexibility: While some instances may reside on Coozila's own servers, others can be hosted with Google Cloud, Hetzner, Amazon, or other providers for enhanced redundancy and resilience.
