I sit and listen as the stars now weave a rainbow,

To rain upon our souls with stardust,

And our dreams will birth moments in the ether,

I wait with longing for us to meet.

I will wait to find you again in my dreams,

And to listen to your whispers before I fall asleep,

On the wings of your thoughts,

With you held close to my chest.

I would gather all time into a parchment scroll

And hide it beneath the foundations of the earth,

If you could reach me in a single instant,

But time flows infinitely, like a river.
